I tried the Ketogenic Diet (... and it didn't work)


I tried the Kitogenic Diet, as many body building sites were talking about it.
In a nutshell, the diet cuts the carbohydrates and compensates with Fat and Protein.
Well, after a couple weeks running on it, I had adverse effects.
First, I had trouble sleeping. My mood became irritable all the time. I would feel always "full", My belly grew. I was constipated. I had big time issues when seating on the toilet seat (no details needed).
I gained weight.... so much for this revolutionary diet.

Well, it just didn't work.

I changed my diet to incorporate high fiber amounts, like 100% Whole Wheat bread. I lost my weight. I lost my belly. I went to poop every morning. And, I can sleep...

Bottom line, this is NOT a great diet for me.
